Six inch tiles are still plenty big to make a rather slippery when wet floor to my thinking, Carie, which is why we recommend mosaic tiles for that application. A mosaic tile is one with a facial area of less than 9 square inches, meaning you gotta stay under 3x3 inches. That also makes tiling the properly sloped floor easier to do without excessive lippage. 2x2-inch tiles have always been my favorite for shower floors.

But that decision is entirely up to you.

Another hint: I think you'll find that a curb at the entry will help reduce the splash-out you can expect and might be a good idea unless you have your heart set on a curbless entry.

My opinion; worth price charged.
