I've been working by the square foot for several large flooring companies here
in southern Ohio for 20 yrs or more. Seems to me as a loner $2.50 a foot isn't so bad. Hell your looking at gross $50.00 per hour. Taxs, insurance, and expense, shouldn't cost you $25.00 per hour. Your going to get more proficent with time. Your going to see prep charges in addition to your sq ft. I wont go less than $2.50 ever any more. I push for $3.00 every time a sales person asks about pricing. Residential on the other hand is strictly bid per application.
To many variables for sq ft.
