Hello Again,

I hired a fella to do my shower, but after seeing how sloppily he installed the Kerdi on the walls and the massive build-up in the corners, I decided to try it myself. He did a good job on my drywall, though.

The Schluter shower pan had to be cut to fit and now there is a low spot of about an 1/8" or 3/16" in the center of the pan where the pan meets the walls.

Can I make up the 3/16" low spot with thin-set while installing the 2x2 porcelain floor tile?

Should I install the wall tile before the floor tile? My thinking is that it might make it easier to align the floor tile to the bottom edge of the wall tile.

Thanks for the help,
