Hi Rosa, if you have experience, you'll pretty much know how long a project will take. These days it's hard to have a set price per sq ft for any given type of tile. Each job has it's own set of challenges that will need to be addressed.

I try to figure approximately how long a job will take and multiply that by how much I want to charge per day. In that price you'll need to have your overhead and profit, possible materials, etc, etc figured in.

Most of my work is remodel these days so I seldom ever figure a firm bid. I figure an estimate because there are a lot of unforeseen things that can pop up.
