We did a bathroom repair about a year ago. The client just came to us to tell us that there is mold growing in some of the grout, nda there is a white build-up in other areas (see pictures). The client says the white substance is pretty hard. The tile is limestone, and we used Tec power grout along with Tec AccuColor Caulk. Once everything was dry, we then sealed and polished everything. We always follow manufacturer guidelines. Underneath the newly repaired tile, we used Schluter water proofing products. Do you have any idea what the white substance may be, and why there would be mold growing in the grout?
