Quartzite laundry backsplash

I'm putting up a backsplash in my laundry renovation. I've chosen some quartzite tiles in a "boading creme" color (http://www.tileshop.com/products/pro...1&pageIndex=1), 4" square for a diagonal pattern above counter and 16" square for running bond pattern below the counter level (behind the washer and dryer), splitting the pattern with a slate half round.

I've not used this quartzite rock before. Any experience or tips? I'm expecting to use a no sag modified thinset, and sealing with a color enhancer before grouting. The sales staff from the tileshop obviously is recommending their store brand thinset and grout for this -- any negative experience with these products or tips or advice from the pros?

regards,
