The 2x4 that is sistered in between 16oc joist fit all the way, approximatley 14.5 inches in length.
and I spaced them 1ft apart along the joist
SO for a section of joist that run 11ft in the bathroom, I put in 11 sistering
2X4's.
Does it make sense yet?
