Thanks for the note. The stub-outs are standard male 1/2" threaded brass - I've attached some pitchers of them. Maybe I should get a nut that would fit the threads and run it on it a few times? I'm just really concerned that no matter what, a little might be left behind and that will cause the connection to not be watertight and leak.
