Yeah, off and on for the last couple years I've tinkered with carving in basswood and cottonwood bark, but still not enough time to get very good at it. Back in High School I took several years of ceramic classes. That's much easier, if you want a nose on your project, grab a chunk of clay and slap a nose on it. With wood, you have to remove wood that's not needed and once you take it away you can add it back on. It's enjoyable but quite a challenge.
