Ok just did some much closer analysis of floor...

Ok just did some much closer analysis of floor structure. Did not have much time yesterday and some specs were not accurate now that i put a tape measurer up there. SO.

-Joists are 1.5" x 11". ...

Thank you jim. I did lift up the drop ceiling in my basement to check that there were infact 2x4's spanning across the tops of the walls secured to the joists above, so I believe they are supports...
