There's no way to properly use cement board on the inside and top side of the curb. Fastening the cement board requires screws or nails that would penetrate the liner. It's not done to tile industry...

This has nothing to do with epoxy grout but a surface applied membrane on a shower floor will hold the moisture directly under the tiles. If the shower isn't used, the water will eventually dry out....

Sometimes this is a problem when grouting with dark grout on a light colored stone and is why we recommend making a sample board before grouting the real deal. I'd give it more time like Bubba said.

Stand back and look at it. If it's noticeable to your eye then you might want to change it. It's possible that it might become more noticeable as you install more tiles.

Customs Prism is my go to grout these days. I find it very easy to work with and the color stays consistent. I could be wrong but I think grouting pebbles with Fusion could be a big mess.
