kitchen granite tile countertop, grout and second question

I stopped the CBU above the top of the tub and caulked. Do the tiles rest on the top of the tub or should there be a small space? Thanks, took a while to get to this point.

Hi John, We had planned on the CBU going down to the tub deck but stopping 1/4" before it hits the tub. We thought this was the way to do it, but as usual will follow your instructions. Thanks.
