Scott, sorry i am being slow. What is that product you are using and is it parallel to the shower floor or the bathroom floor. Thanks for the picture that helps a lot.

I used Ditra so that went on top of the leveling...

I used Ditra so that went on top of the leveling compound then tile. The floor was probably 1/4 to 3/8 out of flat when I started. I spent multiple hours with a rub brick trying to bring it closer...
