All of the floor heating kits that I have done specify that no wires should cross. Most call for an inch or more of minimum space between them. Probably should pull out the instructions from...

I have been thinking about purchasing one for a while now. Which model was this picture taken with? I assume that there is a "sweet spot" for cost of camera vs features vs value?

Window thread

I think a window thread is a good idea. I don't run across them too often, but seeing options of how other pros do them would be a nice resource. Maybe even worthy of a "sticky".

Laser pole

That pole is nice. If you ever have to put up a dust barrier, Fastcap make a set of poles that I use as a laser pole as well. The Bosch BM-1 is the holder I use. Can be used for floors too.

Small saw

Look for the Briccolina or the Great White (tile tools). I have both and am very satisfied. Also works in a pinch for long plank cuts.

Gladiator 105

I have owned the Gladiator 105 for 4 or 5 years. Flawless performance. A big boy to move around from jobsite to jobsite, though.

Drip Pan

Ron,

I really like the black tray. Great idea. How big is it? Heavy duty? How long have you used it?
I have the Gladiator. It is a great saw, but very heavy. Hard for one man to move around.

I have used Greenskin a few times now. I love the stuff. I had some scraps left over that I saved to use over Kerdi washers. All I can say is you get one chance to put them on. It will almost pull...

Brian, How do you and your crew keep the caulk out of the grout? I have only a few customers who prefer to caulk the base, but it seems to be a real pain to keep the grout clean.

Sikaflex 221 vs. Sikaflex 1A

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 221 and the 1a? I have used 221 before to seal the inside of niche seams when I can't get my hands on Kerdi Fix. This week, however, the supplier said...

I think I found it. GMC makes a 2 3/8" Palm Planer. Also, Tapp 909 makes a Palm Planer. I am not sure if this is the exact one, but it is worth a look. Thanks.
