Used Sealer’s Choice Gold -

The shower door guys added that - it's a vent window to allow one to spill heat and also to vent enclosure when finished. (CB Showers)

Decades ago I did a number of floors with Saltillo, some outside but under a roof. I don't think I'd use it in a freezing area- it's absorbtive and weak, there are stronger tiles that look similar....

Thanks Laz, is it necessary to pre-seal before CQ? It seems like the polished surface will clean up ok but it is porous. Mainly worried about staining with a dark gray grout.

While Sika flex sealant has acceptance as a bond to kerdi, it would seem another SMP sealant / adhesive would be a closer product, certainly better than most silicones which don't bond all that well...
