Hi Jason, :)

Besides the J-metal for drywall there is also an L-metal bead that will cover the drywall edge and just touch the tile. The metal is paintable. :)

You probably did it the best way possible. There have been problems with enhancer mottling up the grout, so the procedure is set the tiles, enhance and then grout. :)
