the weight of the mortar bed (and gravity) holds it down.No need to bond the Pro Slope down.(You do still need the liner under under the mortar bed on-top of Pro Slope)

In todays almost airtight homes there is less chance of moisture that gets into the wall cavity to escape.(leaks,vapor,condensation, etc) This is setting up a potential for problems down the road...

Not real sure what the question is but.... Nobledeck can defiantly be used as a shower pan.

Nobledeck could be ,either bonded or loose layed . If the corners are folded they will bump you out...

yes it is very "doable". If the pan waterproofing is under(behind) the wall board, there is a TCNA detail for it. The curb is the tricky part..

Durock membrane is designed to be surface applied, if the ring will come off you could go with a Nobleflex...
