I just scarpped away some mud at drain and its 5/8" thick there, but isnt the drain for the kerdi bigger in diameter at its outside edges?
SO i would be going closer to the thicker slope might be...

Ok i wrap the bench back, seat, and front with poly.
What wouid be the next step?
1. Install durock, then maybe a liquid sealer?
2. Vinyl liner, but then how would I install it on the bench...
