this is for a multi res-new construction...

Trowel bonding might be a decent option though.

Weight is definitely an issue. Is there a lightweight concrete that is lighter than gypcrete?

I will be adding in a membrane for sure. They seem dead set on using cement board...

How does TCNA approve a floor assembly?

Just curious as I am looking at a job with a tile assembly that is not approved by the TCNA, but the company that is to provide a certain component has robinson floor test data on it. Just wondering...
