Can someone advise me about what to use to caulk the drop- in sink to the countertop and also to caulk the first row of backsplash tiles to the countertop?

grout is ok in 1/16 inch lines.

No grouting the joint that we will caulk

Thank you, CX.

I understand now. We can use the Mastic and we can use acrylic caulking but
only by itself in that joint connecting the countertop to the tile.
