By the way Chase, I did mine with porcelain but even if it was stone I’d still use tile mortar to ensure the bond between the tile and mud.

Reviving this thread because I just got one of these babies! Will make moving tile easier around the job and also plan to bring in mud buckets with it. Says it holds up to 2200lbs so I hope it lasts...
