Kerdi pans generally have the bare minimum slope and I think the general consensus is that for a floor like that, you want much more than the minimum in order for it to drain properly.

Am I the only one that noticed a complete lack of PPE? Dry cutting with no dust mask, safety glasses or ear plugs. And no knee pads but I guess when you're young, you can squat all day like that!

I've done it. I built a tub surround out of Kerdi board so there was no wood to attach the ledger to. Put masking tape on the Kerdi board and hot glued the ledger to the masking tape. Worked fine.
