So pooling means surface isn't sealed, but small beading does? Fwiw, RE the waterbase I wanted to use was either stonetech buttletproof or aqua sealer gold.

Will alkaline cleaner strip solvent based grout sealer?

Has anyone heard of any failures when applying RG over standard primer? I am amazed at the grip. Even on my hardieboard, it's hard to pick at, and isn't coming off in sheets.

How to test the integrity of a RedGard application?

Plan on using this to waterproof our bathtub surround.
