Chip off the big chunks and humps. Fill in the dips and screed the everything flat with mortar/fat mud. Get the bricks damp before mudding.

Shouldn’t be redguard over any mud on the shower floor, that’s the purpose of the hot mop. If there is it can be cup wheeled/scraped down to the porous deck mud.

Those can still be filled in,...

Skip the rasp on the deco band, take your trowel and feather/float it to thickness for your tile since it needs build out anyhow. Maybe you can get away with doing the same for the back of the niche....
