You can use Stonetech's Kleanzal 8:1 and do it by hand, you are just trying rough up the surface a little and get it real clean. Than rinse it good let it dry and apply Aldon's Lifeguard.

I think you are going to have to strip what you put on, you may have to call Tilelabs to see what they reccomend to get it off.
