Ok if I did this right then the longest unsupported joist is 14 feet. I put that into the Deflecto calculator and got L/380.

The current floor is the hexagonal ceramic tile shown above -> 1/2" underlayment -> 5/8" plywood....

Oh no I wouldn't close the gap with Ditra. I would fit the correct size plywood to the joist, screw it in, and likely have a supporting piece run under the floor.

I'll have to examine it again later today after work. I think sanding, skim coat, re-coat will be my way to fix it since the tray and curb are installed.

The first wall I did I think is good. The wall is nice and smooth when I run my hand over it. I can't feel any of the trowel notches. I think the thinset didn't dry out as quickly as the other two...
