Correct - I picked Versabond b/c it is "lightly modified" as JB wrote, and figured it would bond over the residue of adhesive etc left on the floor... Plus I like working with it - nice and creamy!...

Also, those diamond hole saw bits...

from ebay work really well. Used a 35 mm one to make the cut out for my shower head pipe, and it cut like a dream in my drill press on the tough porcelain tile!

Someone ought to buy a ton of them...
