I'm sort of torn on using adhesive at all--the old sub floor all had some construction adhesive and getting that cleaned up has been a giant PITA...

I had most recently looked at a different deflection calculator that had a SPF species option; if I use the one here and put in lowest grade, 22" spacing, it spits out L / 641. So joist deflection...
