I have had the same thing happen. Sometimes grout will work , sulfamic acid , toothpaste , magic eraser or poultice. Possibly 3000 grit sandpaper or heavy duty polishing compound.

Planks suck and people don't want to pay more to have them installed. We even mud set them sometimes and its a nightmare.
