disposing mixed tile thinset

Hey folks,

I have hardened thinset but in small pieces. Largest maybe 3/4 size of a golf ball. Is it ok to include them as trash and have it picked up by our garbage services?

Ah, the joining point which is somewhat straight is what annoys me big time! :( I hope the grout will hide it since I picked a light colored grout.
