That's sound like a good plan. I hope the bad wood is limited to the top, but when I redid the toilet, it did not look good.

I meant 32 wide. Actually 29.5 from inside the 4x4 curb. and 52 wide, stud to stud.

Been reading well.
My shower area is 22"x48"

So a 48x48 would get cut 13" on opposing sides.

I may still decide to “float” the floor with a Kerdi drain.

Introduction and 1st question

I have done a lot of woodwork (clock cases, cutting boards, cradles) and household repairs.
Tile is new to me.

If you can the the picture, my shower is completly removed, and the remaining floor...
