Can you give more details of how that base was...

Can you give more details of how that base was done and of the drain? If you have redguard under the drypack what happens to water that gets under the tile and grout? Seems like it would be trapped...

Srikanth, if the outer edge of the joists is really 8 1/2" then you only have about 2 3/4" of fall over the 16 feet which is not close to 1/4" per foot. 2x12 is typically 11 1/4".
