I used Flexbond to attach my glass tiles to CBU, some of which had been Redgarded: pressed it in tight, held for about 2 mins, then taped. No problems whatsoever. Make sure you use white thinset.

Home Depot is carrying self adhesive mesh tape for CBU now - thats what I used. It should say right on the wrapper that its for CBU (Durock, Wonderboard, etc). If it don't, it ain't. :idea:
