i did a mud bed for my buddy shower,,, the usual blah blah, good pitch kerdi drain etc...

i had to do some acyual paying...

but.......... pool plaster is a specialty. from prep to h20...... its best left to a pro, yes it has to be done in one shot as plaster needs to cure underwater. also...

if th epoxy paint solvent eats it, its epoxy & vice versa.... wish I saw this one earlier

look into 3M diamond brite or pebbletek products. btw if you do this plan on watching it cure, as it needs a damp cure. & don't over trowel or you'll burn the mud.
