One More Tidbit

There is one more tidbit of information, 5 ft in from the wall, 8 ft from the main beam, are 2 boards nailed between the joists in a "X" formation. This is between each and every joist the whole...

Ok, so I ran my number through the Deflectolater and it came out to .639 or L/244. I have 2X8's, 16" on center, 13 feet long. Thumbs down from Mr. Deflectolater. What are you suggestions? Sister...

Dang, Wrong plywood thickness

Dang it, I put down the wrong plywood thickness, I meant to say 1/2 inch plywood, not 1/4 inch. Does that make a difference with replacing it?

Floor Thickness

Seriously, it is like a trampoline... Most of the house has hardwood floors except in the kitchen where there was linoleum over 3/4 plywood. So you would suggest not reusing the existing subfloor...
