These edges seem like it would be easy to cut and hide in the field. Factory straight edge that don’t seem to need any rubbing with a stone.

I finally got the tile removed and the thin set cleaned off the plywood. You were asking what the sub floor is. I have 2 sheets of plywood. First layer a 1/2 inch and a 3/4 in plywood under it....
