Are you dead set on using Kerdi? If it's that hard to find, why not go with a different system? For a steam shower, I'd personally go with the Wedi system using either their Vapor 85 panels or their...

That's what I'd do. I think it flows better that way. Draw some lines on the wall with the pattern layout to make sure you like it before committing.

That tub would work, Pete. There are a few of us that have used that tub or similar with a tiled apron. They are frustrating to say the least, but once done, it's hard to beat the look. Here are a...

If using a lippage control system, the best way I've found to limit the mess after spreading more mortar on the wall is to use a margin trowel and knock down/remove a bit of mortar from the edge of...

Chris,

I agree with Justin's advice on the layout. If the pictures you posted are of your current installation state, I'd stop tiling immediately. I see some major gaps in your Wedi panels around...

Dan,
For dry areas, yeah...I like the tile tape a lot. It works great for inside and outside corners too. Not sure I'd trust it in a wet area though...it's a bit narrow at 2.25" vs the more common...

Donn,
Yep, makes sense. I've not used the Go Board pro sealant, but from reading the datasheet on it, it seems a lot like the Wedi joint sealant (both are moisture curing , silyl modified polymers),...

Vignesh,
I recently ran into the same situation with a Wedi to drywall outside corner. I ran the drywall past the Wedi so the Wedi abutts to it. I don't like having any exposed XPS foam (the blue...
