By your measurements you should have 3/8 clearance. Unless you are off on the numbers I'd go with afore mentioned stove is not level. Crank up the legs on the left side and see if it will work.

Nice job btw, diagonal walls are not an easy thing to get right for a DIYer. You must be very patient or drink like a tile guy.

More to think about...will the plumbing trim still finish out correctly?? The shower may have a curtian but the steamer has a door that will no longer fit and they can be expensive to replace.
