we have ripped out an old shower stall bathroom back to the studs and have a tub to put in instead. negotiating the movement of the drain via a real plumber, as that's over my depth. :-)

Well, I just went back over everything with a terry towel and a heavy hand. It's mostly "shiny" with a little bit of not-shiny here and there.

I guess that it is what it is. Grout sealing time...

There's no quarter round in the whole place. Baseboard is ~ 4.5" tall, with an (i'm sure i can't find a router knife to reproduce it) interesting profile and is in good condition (at the moment :-)...

I've gone off and read the Ditra handbook install notes on the Schluter site. It would seem that the thinset that I already have is not recommended?
