Installed the new Nobel drain last week on a project. will post some pics. One of the easiest installs ever. Nice and rigid. No flexing. Positive clamp ring for topical membranes.

I always talk customers out of pebbles on shower floors just for the reasons presented in this discussion. If you want it to look somewhat "nice" you are going to have duck ponds and bad drainage....
