Kerdi wall uneveness at corners
I've just finished laying 3/4" marble mosaics in the shower over kerdi. The corners where the kerdi overlapped is thicker than the rest of the wall which makes the tiles uneven. It's not really that bad. But, on my next job I'd like to make it perfect. What's the best way to prevent the uneveness?

It doesnt take a lot of thinset to adhere the Kerdi, so make sure there isnt a big buildup underneath... Also, you can feather out the joint with a little thinset to make it less noticeable when working with small tiles. You generally dont have this problem when working with larger tiles.

Use Kerdi-band at the corners, instead of overlapping the Kerdi. Kerdi-band is about 1/2 the thickness of Kerdi.
