Banding stain on limestone floor near shower glass

Hi, I have a honed limestone floor with large block stone tiles. 2 months after they were installed the below formed around the shower glass. I have paid over 1k out of pocket to have various stone cleaners attempt to remove the stain to no avail. First thing is that I think we need to properly identify it.

What have been some of the guesses? :)

My first guess is that water and whatever else has pooled near the glass. Limestone is about halfway along the road to becoming marble. Marble, which is generally dense and nearly impervious, is hard to care for in a shower. Limestone, which is porous, is nigh unto impossible. Some limestone is more porous than others, but it is all porous, which of course, causes it to soak up everything it comes into contact with.

I don't know what your stain is. :)

Water sitting

It seems like there has to be water collecting and dripping from the metal at the bottom of the door. If you have hard water, that might be settling into the limestone.
