Advice on finishing off this tiled edge?

I have a bathroom shower that was tiled for me, and the tile guy ended up leaving a "raw edge" around the outside of the shower-- see attached images. There's one of the shower as a whole and then a close up of the "raw edge". We thought after the room was painted that this edge wouldn't bother us, but it does.

I'm now unsure on how to finish this off so it looks nice. Since this stone is tumbled, placing a full tile all the way around wouldn't really lay evenly, so I'm really at a loss here. Maybe since the finishes are/will be brushed nickel, is there some sort of brushed nickel "trim" that we could do around the three edges? Any suggestions/advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

If the tiles are waaay out of plumb, I'd grind / cut the ends of the jamb tiles so they are flush, then add tiles to the outside face of the shower.

If they are flush enough so the grout hides the uneven-ness, then tile the outside face and grout it closed.

I'd also waterproof the area outside the shower around the curb. That area usually takes it on the chin.
