Kerdi Flange on the floor

Hello,

After a plumber came out and installed our Kerdi flange and leveled the floor the flange was pretty much embedded into the floor. The Flange would pretty much be near the bottom of the board if where to install it. What solutions do i have to fix this problem? Do i take a pipe cutter on the inside of the flange and pull it out after i dig out the concerete?

This is in my basement in the concrete floor and im new to this type of stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-Kefka

What do you mean by flange? Post a picture of what you have, and it will be easier to help.

Welcome, Jeffrey. :)

And tell us also if you're building a Kerdi shower or is this drain for some other purpose. I'm a bit confused by your plumber "leveling" the floor around the flange.
