Glass Mosaic Tile and Thinset

I want to use a glass mosaic tile as an accent in my shower. The instructions on the mosaic says to use a white mastic as an adhesive. I know mastic is a definate NO in a shower. Is thinset ok to use? Would you have to thin it down a little?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Rogerto,
Welcome to the site. :)
What brand of mosaic are you using? Never heard of mastic being spec'd for such things. Mostly we use TEC Superflex White or Custom's MegaFlex. I would think Laticrete 254 Platinum would fall into the category of a suitable thinset as well.

Don't forget Mapei Ultraflex 3 :D

If you use Mapei, go with Adisilex P10.
