No, not Holy Grout. Holey grout, as in lots of holes. As a long time installer of Mapei Flexcolor CQ, I have little experience with cementitious grout. A friend of the family recently had their shower done, and hired whoever could get it done within a couple weeks. Now the problems start showing up. The grout in her shower floor is very porous (visible holes). My thought is a cementitious grout was mixed with too much water or rinsed with too much water. Now, dirt and grime are getting in the holes and is nearly impossible to get out. She has had it professionally cleaned and resealed. Regrout seems the only solution in my head. I don't think re-grouting is an option. You might think about going over the floor with powdered grout to fill the little holes.

I think a tear-out and re-do of the shower floor, or live with what's there.

I know this isn't the "right way" to do it, but.....

What if you did a little bit of carving at the existing grout (just to give a better surface to stick to) and then epoxy grouted over it? Kinda ghetto but might be worth a shot before ripping it all out.
