Laticrete's PTK

So I've heard a number of you mentioning attending in other threads. Is this a good class to attend, worth the money? What is it all about?

Hi Levi, it doesn't cost anything but you to get there. And yes it is very informative. :)

On Laticretes website it says it costs $495. That plus my airfare etc...I am looking at over 1k...If the PTK doesn't cost the cash then I will definitely do it.

No cost for my trip to their OR facility. Good use of time. The best kind of folks there at Laticrete.

I wished the PTK class following the mud course was longer. I would have liked to handled a few more products.

Levi, who is your Laticrete Rep. Normally your rep attends when you go, kinda like keeping the chain a command. Yes, when I went last year my only cost was to git myself there. They provided the bed and all meals and of course the PTK Course.

Was nice to have the mud class and PTK incorporated into the same week, since it was a Laticrete Facility. I know many a us had been to the PTK so had the mud class been all week I woulda welcomed it. I know by Wed. many were looking to move on. I woulda liked to have had more hands-on, but it gave me the basics and I can do the hands-on here at home and practice. So for one week it was packaged nicely.

Levi,

I had a great time at the Laticrete PTK in West Palm Beach earlier this year.

they pretty much go over all of their products and show you how they are used in a demo.

Time well spent. I think there is one in the Caribbean in March. :postitbg:

So is it just a demo of Laticretes products? I regularly use hydroban (I have to order it online) and I regularly use 255 ( I get it at a masonry supply shop here locally) I can't get my hands on any other Laticrete products w/o paying for shipping and waiting to get it. I don't know that it is worth it for Laticrete to send me when I can't use all of the products they offer.

Probably not then. be more of a tease to you.
like a picture of a hot apple pie you cant taste.

Hi Levi, I flew out to Oregon last November to the PTK. I don't use Laticrete products alot because for me to get them I hafta drive 120 miles. The class was fun and informative.
