How do I transition travertine tile to carpet at the bathroom doorway. The carpet is already installed, and there is the gold metal trim piece at the carpets edge. Are there travertine thresholds that I can purchase, or should they just butt together?

you can find travertine thresholds at specialty tile stores, but not many places have them. i just saw some the other day as we were looking for backsplash tile, though we didnt use any for our travertine...

I'm like Jeff and would butt (or "turn-and-tack" if there's enough carpet to do it) the carpet. It's a neat, clean look. :)
