Hi All,

I'm finishing a large porcelain tile floor and have installed a pre-made mosaic floor medallion. The medallion looks to be marble, in various colors including white. I never tried epoxy grout but would like to. I'm afraid of the epoxy staining the marble bits in the medallion.

I contacted Laticrete and they recommended pre-sealing, but cautioned against getting sealer in the grout spaces. This medallion has lots of small pieces and probably 400 grout spaces. Any ideas on how to apply the sealer to the top surfaces of the medallion only? I was thinking about several very light coats with a paint roller that was just barely damp with sealer. Im not sure that multi coats works with sealers, nor that this crazy idea would work in any case.

Any suggestions? Or should I just give up on the epoxy and use reglar ol' grout and seal afterwards?
