My only experiences with tub surrounds involved using 4" ceramic tile with 2 x 6 bullnose for trim, including down the tub legs. As I drag my feet on my next project, one of the questions I ponder on is how to stylize or finish the legs if one doesn't choose a tile that has the convenient 2 x 6 size trim available.

Do people use 3" wide legs, trim the 3 x 6 to 2 x 6, skip the trim and use field tile cut to 2" or 3" width? Or is the answer yes yes yes and more yes?

Talk to me about legs.

Thanks!

Tub legs can be any width and style that pleases the interior decorator. Don't limit your thinking.
